SACC-Iredell is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of physically or mentally challenged children through recreational sports.

As such, we rely on our community members for financial support.

Corporate and organization sponsors are an integral part of our program. Their assistance and generosity allows us to provide year-round athletic opportunities to children who might otherwise not be able to participate in recreational athletics. For that, we are extremely grateful!

Buddies are more than just volunteers. They are very special members of our program who assist our SACC athletes in various sports. They are sometimes strangers who often become good friends.

Volunteers for our Buddy program come from churches, civic groups, area school organizations, the athlete's circle of family and friends and our community at large. Buddies are supportive, positive and encouraging to our athletes. They provide only the minimal amount of assistance needed for each athlete to participate in a sport to his/her fullest capacity and enjoyment.

Our Buddy system has proven to be successful and rewarding in countless ways for both an athlete and his/her Buddy. If you are already volunteering in our Buddy program - THANK YOU!
